The Juniors had a hard earned 2 point victory over Clyda Rovers at
Ballyhea on Wednesday night played in very heavy conditions. The sides were level at half time 1-4 to 0-7, Ballyhea's goal coming from Johnny O' Flaherty in the 18th min. The second half provided excellent fare with the lead changing hands on numerous occassions. Sean Coleman goaled in the 31st minute after good work by Diarmuid O' Flynn. Ballyhea led 2-7 to 0-10 when Clyda equalised with a goal with 10 mins
to go. Conor Condon struck for a well taken goal a minute later only for Clyda to equalise again at the other side. Clyda went ahead with a pointed free with 3 mins to go but a late rally from Ballyhea saw points from Johnny O' Sullivan, Liam O' Connor and Johnny O' Flaherty (in injury time) to seal victory.
