Cork Intermediate Hurling League Round 4 YOUGHAL 1-17 BALLYHEA 0-17 (01/06/05) Played At | Youghal. Our intermediates made the long trip to Youghal last Wednesday night but went under to a determined second half rally by the home side. Ballyhea started well and were full value for a 6 point lead after 15 mins with Tim Shanahan in particular looking very sharp at full forward. This lead was maintained at the half time break with Neil Ronan chipping in with 2 fine points 0-13 to 0-7. The lead would have been more but for a brace of fine saves by the seasiders keeper to deny Tim Shanahan and Neil Ronan respectively. Youghal nipped away at our lead in the second half and were level by the 45th min thanks to a Brendan Ring goal in the 42nd minute. The home side finished the stronger while we could only manage a solitary point from a Neil Ronan free in the final 20 mins.
