Our footballers maintained their unbeaten run with a comfortable
victory over Grange at Castletownroche last sat night. We got off to a flying start leading 0-7 to 0-0 after 20 mins with Ian and Darran Ronan scoring 2 points each. Grange though staged a revival and by half-time our lead was down to 3 points 0-8 to 1-2. But Ballyhea took over again in the 2nd half and points from Sean Curtin , Eamon Crowley and Kieran O' Riordan put us 6 points clear, and by the time team captain Aidan o' Connor kicked over our 21st point in the 58th min the game was already well over as a contest.
Other notable performances came from Stephen Dennehy, Tommy McNamara,
Eamon Morrisey and Edmund O' Regan.
