Cork County Club Senior Hurling League 2003 Round 6 MIDLETON 1-15 BALLYHEA 2-15 (02/06/03) Played At | Midleton. After a high scoring contest, Ballyhea went under to Midleton in their Gaelic Week Tounament Final on Bank Holiday Monday. Midleton had an early early goal, but Ballyhea replied with a mighty long range point from Sean Curtin. Johnny O' Sullivan put over a fine point before Midleton crashed home their second goal to lead 2-2 to 0-2. Points from Sean Curtin and 5 pointed frees on the trot from Maurice O' Sullivan followed by a johnny O' Sullivan goal from a 21 yard free had 2 points between the sides at half-time, 2-7 to 1-8 The second half was close with John O' Riordan and Ian Ronan both shooting narrowly wide but in the end the home side held out for a 3 point victory.
