Munster Intermediate Hurling League Round 1 BALLYHEA 1-13 DROMIN ATHLACCA 2-9 (04/07/04) Played At | Ballyhea. Ballyhea made a good comeback to defeat Dromin/Athlacca in our opening Munster League game on Sunday. There was little between the sides in the 1st half, but a goal after 15 minutes had Athlacca in front 1-5 to 0-5 at Half-Time. Athlacca held a 5 point lead early in the second half but points from Liam O' Connor, Aidan Crowley, Darren Ronan and Sean Curtin (2) narrowed the gap to a point, 1-8 to 0-10 with 10 minutes remaining. Ballyhea had a lot of possession at this stage but Athlacca poached a second goal to lead by 5 again with 5 minutes to play and looked likely winners. However, Ballyhea put in a strong finish with a goal from Ian Ronan and three late points, the winner from Jonathon "JohnyRub" Sullivan in injury time saw Ballyhea emerge victorious by a point.
