Cork County Intermediate Hurling League Round 4

BALLYHEA 3-18 ST. CATHERINES 1-18 (07/07/04)
Played At | Ballyhea.

The intermediate hurlers fought back well to defeat St. Catherines in the league at the field on Wednesday night last. Despite some well taken scores from our lads including a goal from Ian Ronan and an excellent long range point from Sean Curtin, the sides were on level terms 1-9 to 0-12 at half-time. St. Catherines had an early goal in the 2nd half and soon went 4 points clear but Ballyhea kept plugging away and goals from Maurice O' Sullivan in the 53rd minute and Ian Ronan in the 56th minute proved to be the difference in the end.

Ballyhea now have three wins out of four in the league and are in contention to make the semi finals if they maintain their current form for the three league games remaining.
