The intermediate hurlers advanced to the semi final of the intermediate hurling league last Sunday morning at a blustery St. Vincents. Ballyhea opened well and led 1-7 to 0-4 at the break, the goal coming from John William O' Brien. Some fine points early in the second half from Maurice O' Sullivan and Liam O' Connor stretched our lead. The Vincents attack could not find a way through for a crucial goal and further points from Ian Ronan and Johnny O' Sullivan and Maurice O' Sullivan sealed our place in the Semi Finals.
