The Junior hurlers begun their league campaign with an entertaining
draw at Ballygiblin last Sunday morning. At half-time Ballygiblin led 0-7 to 0-6. Ballyhea got on top in the second half with the aid of a Sean coleman goal in the 41st minute and with 7 minutes remaining led by 6 points 1-11 to 0-8 but a late finish by the homeside who were now reduced to 14 men saw them score 2 goals and earn a share of the points.
