A youthful Ballyhea side went under to a lively Glen combination at Charleville last Friday night in the County Senior Hurling League. The Glen led 1-6 to 0-7 at half-time thanks to an early goal in the 4th minute. The city side added a second goal in the 34th minute but Ballyhea replied with a goal from a 21 yard free from Timmy Shanahan. The Glen though goaled again in the 40th minute to lead 3-8 to 1-8. Ballyhea pulled another goal back from Ian Curtin in the 49th minute. The Glen added 3 further points and a late goal to take the league points.
