North Cork Division 3 Junior Hurling League Round 4 NEWTOWN 1-8 BALLYHEA 4-8 Played At | Newtown (17/04/07) A dramatic 4 goal burst in 8 minutes saw Ballyhea beat great rivals Newtown at Newtown on Tuesday night. Newtown started brightly and deservedly led 0-6 to 0-4 at half time despite a tremendous display by Ballyhea centre back Aidan "chuck" O Connor. Newtown goaled 7 minutes into the second half and with 48 mins on the clock led 1-8 to 0-6. Then came Ballyhea's late finish when player manager Ray Ronan set up Mick O' Mahony for a great goal. This was followed 3 mins later by another Mick O' Mahony goal after Dinny Mortells original effort was saved. 2 goals in a minute from Stephen O' Sullivan and Dinny Mortell sealed an amazing victory for ballyhea and full points from 4 league outings.
