Cork County Club Senior Hurling League 2003 Round 4 BALLYHEA 1-13 NA PIARSAIGH 3-9 (19/04/03) Played At | Ballyhea. Despite leading by 8 points after 25 minutes, our seniors went under to Na Piarsaigh last Saturday night at Ballyhea. Ballyhea started brightly and 2 early points from Maurice O' Sullivan helped us to a 2 point lead after 5 mins (0-3 to 0-1). In the 8th minute Na Piarsaigh goaled from a dubious 21 yard free to lead. Ballyhea hit a purple patch now with 7 points on the trot, 6 from Neil Ronan (5 frees) and 1 from Ian Ronan. Then in the 24th minute Darren Ronan first timed to the net to lead 1-10 to 1-2. Na Piarsaigh though scored 1-1 in the closing stages of the first half to leave us 1-10 to 1-3 ahead at half-time Another Na Piarsaigh goal in the 35th minute left just a point between the sides and with the wind favouring the city side they went on to win with late points.
