Premier Intermediate Hurling Championship 1/4 Final

BALLYHEA 0-14 YOUGHAL 0-15 (20/08/05)
Played At | Castlelyons.

The Intermedaites bowed out of the Championship after they were defeated by Youghal at Castlelyons on Saturday. The side was dealt a blow beforehand with Neil Ronan unable to start due to injury but despite that there was very little between the sides through out. Both sides had their moments in the first half but it was Youghal who had a 0-9 to 0-8 lead at the break.

Ballyhea had more of the play in the 2nd period and when Ian Curtin pointed in the 51st minute to put Ballyhea 0-14 to 0-13 ahead, it looked promising for us but we could not add to that score and Youghal had points in the 56th and 60th minutes to claim victory by a single point.
