The juniors opened their account with an excellent 2 point victory over Mallow at the field on Sunday. We led 1-7 to 1-4 at the half-time break, the goal coming from full-forward Eamon Crowley.
Mallow came more into the game in the second-half and with 10 minutes left they led by 2 goals 3-9 to 1-9.Ballyhea staged a great recovery starting with a goal from a Johnny O'Sullivan penalty followed by a Conor O'Riordan goal to bring the sides level with 5 minutes remaining .
Late points by Aidan Crowley and Johnny O'Sullivan sealed the victory.
