The seniors went under to the Kerry County champions at Ballyhea last Sunday night, after an entertaining game. Ballyhea started well but had numerous wides early on, Ian Curtin had a point in the 6th minute. After 10 mins the sides were level at 0-1 each, but disaster struck with two goals in 2 minutes for the visitors. Jonathan O'Sullivan had 2 points in the 19th and 22nd mins. Points from Neil Ronan and Ian Curtin before half time and a Neil Ronan goal in the 28th min had us trailing by 1 goal on a scoreline or 2-5 to 1-5 at the break.
By the 50th minute, Kilmoyley led 2-11 to 1-7 before Neil Ronan goaled from close range, finishing to the net after Timmy Shanahan's 21-yard free was saved. Darren Ronan pointed 3 mins before the end to leave just 3 points between the sides, but Kiimoyley ran in for a goal and a late point to run out winners.
