The seniors minus 5 of the Championship side went under to the Glen at the Glen Field on Tues night. Played in ideal conditions the sides were level 0-7 each at half-time. Ian (rocky) Ronan had 2 fine points, while his cousin Neil hit the other 5 (0-3 frees). The Ballyhea defence performed well throughout.
In the second half the Glen goaled in the 33rd min. In the 44th
min Seanie McGrath had another Glen goal to put the home side 5 points
clear , a lead they never relinquished up to the final whistle.
With the 3rd round just 6 weeks away there is alot of work to be done if we are to reach the 1/4 final stage.
