Our Junior hurlers campaign ended last Wednesday night at Shanballymore after a fine contest with Araglen. The winners led 0-8 to 0-3 at half-time. Liam O' Connor scoring all ballyhea's points. Just 1 point separated the sides with 12 mins remaining after a point from Connie Brassill and a well taken goal from Pat Copse in the
40th min, leaving the score 0-10 to 1-6. But 1-2 for Araglen in the
closing stages sent them through to the final.
