The footballers went under to Grange last Friday night in their opening game in the Championship. At half-time we trailed 0-4 to 0-1. Ballyhea came more into the game as the second half progressed and especially when Sean Curtin goaled in the 36th minute from the penalty spot after David Copps was fouled. The sides were level 1-6 each with 8 minutes remaining. Grange finished with 3 points altough Denis Mortell pulled 1 back with 2 minutes to go but time ran out.
