Cork County Club Senior Hurling League 2003 Round 5 DOUGLAS 3-7 BALLYHEA 1-11 (31/05/03) Played At | Douglas. The Seniors travelled to Douglas last Saturday night but came away empty handed. Douglas had early goals in the 12th and 15th minutes to lead 2-2 to 0-1 after 15 minutes. Ballyhea rallied back well with points from Ian Ronan (19), Maurice O' Sullivan (23) and Sean Curtin (24). Maurice O' Sullivan struck for a fine goal in the 27th minute to leave the score 2-3 to 1-4 at half-time. The second half was evenly contested with four Maurice O' Sullivan points, and a Darren Ronan point had the sides level 2-6 to 1-9 with 10 minutes remaining. But Douglas goaled again with 8 minutes remaining. Aidan O' Connor and Maurice O' Sullivan had late points for Ballyhea but could not break through for the crucial goal.
