Ballyhea GAA is undertaking a major building construction of dressing rooms, a covered hurling alley, public toilets, a referees room and an upstairs area suitable for a gym, etc. We have secured a sports capital grant, a loan from Croke Park and a bank loan to finance the majority of this development.

However, we also need to fundraise to meet the shortfall for this development. The committees have decided to fundraise with “Buy a block to build the wall”. Blocks will be sold at 250 each and on completion of the building, a plaque will be erected with the names of all who contributed to this development.

All of the Club’s loans for the previous developments have been cleared, mainly due to your support for the Cork GAA Clubs Draw, of which about 50% of the funds from each ticket are returned to the club and this money is used solely for development and we hope, with your support, that this will continue.

The development represents the community spirit that has become a major part of the Ballyhea GAA achievements over so many years.

Your support of our great club is very much appreciated and we hope you will support this new venture from which many generations will benefit in the years ahead.

Your support will make a difference and you can make your contribution count by contacting any member of the committees listed below, or if you would like further information, the club website is www.ballyheagaa.com

Thanking you in advance for your support,
