The last competitive game of the year for the club ended in defeat after a very close contest at Ballyhooly today. Played in heavy conditions we trailed 2-3 to 0-8 at half time . With 12  minutes remaining we led by 2 points 0-12 to 2-4. Kilworth though struck for a vital third goal with ten minutes remaining. Our lads never gave in .but just came up short by 2 points at the full time whistle.
