Clyda Rovers came out on top in the league final played at Castletownroche last Saturday night. The winners led all the way through and had 8 to spare at half time 1-11 to 0-6, their goal coming midway through the half. Ballyhea kept trying and had reduced the deficit to 6 with 3 minutes remaining when Christoper Hanley got on the end of a Kevin Hanley delivery to find the net. But Clyda finished strong and were not to be denied their victory. Both sides will compete in Div 1 of the league next year.
