Our under 21 hurlers bowed out of the championship Sunday night at Doneraile going under to a strong Mallow side.  After 10 minutes we trailed 8 points to 1 and by the break Mallow led 1-13 to 1-4. Eugene O'Leary netting a fine goal before the half time whistle. Mallow added two further goals in the second half to run out comfortable winners.
Scorers: Eugene O'Leary 1-1, Dean Copps 0-6 ( 5 fr, 1 x 65), Liam Barrett 0-3 ( 3 fr), Jonathon McCarthy 0-1, Shaun Murphy 0-1 (fr).
