The Intermediates travelled to Kilworth this morning where they took on the home team in round 9 of the league. After a sluggish start, Ballyhea got into their stride and controlled matters in the opening half and deservedly lead by 0-14 to 1-2 at half time. Kilworth's goal coming late in the half from a close in free. The free scoring nature of the game continued in the second half with Ballyhea totting up a good score but Kilworth showed good spirit and also did well particularly in the closing stages and Ballyhea were just 4 points clear at the final whistle. Overall, it was a good day's work for the Intermediates as this win puts them through to the Division 1 league final where they will face Ballinhassig.
