Ballyhea minor hurlers qualified for the Northen Region Championship final with a 4-16 to 1-14 victory over Clyda Rovers tonight. This final is fixed for next Sunday evening. Our u-16 hurlers are in Championship action on Tuesday night next 16th at Pairc ui Ring v Courcey Rovers at 6.30. Tom Hanley lined out in Croke Park today in the mini sevens during the all ireland hurling semi final. Cork senior camogie team including Ballyhea's Maria Walsh on their panel were defeated in the all ireland semi final at Nowlan Park yesterday. Mike Kelly was the man in the midddle in the other semi final between Kilkenny and Galway . Our intermediate hurlers went under to Kilbrittain 3-18 to 3-8 in the league at the West Cork venue yesterday.
