The annual club Puc Fada was held on St Stephens Day with a record 40 teams in the Adult competition and 10 teams in the juvenile section. The Adult competition for  the Michael "Dicko" Mortell Memorial Shield was won by The Budgies : Sean Griffin , Alan Dennehy and John Morrissey on 37 shots. The runners up were The Bears : Mikey Browne, Pa O'Callaghan and Jonathon McCarthy who defeated The Stars: Mossie O'Sullivan, Stephen O'Sullivan and Nathalie O'Brien in a play off after both finished on 39 shots. The over 40 category was won by The Also Rans : Timmy Griffin, Mossie O'Sullivan and John Mortell on 45 shots. In the Juvenile competition Sean Griffin made it a double winning with Jamie Copps and Adam Barrett on 31 shots and the runners up were Shaun Murphy, Conor Griffin and Thomas Foley on 34 shots . The Trophies were presented at the Bridge Bar who sponsored the event. Thanks to everyone who took part or marked cards and to everyone that helped in any way to make it another great success.
